A Day Sturgeon Fishing with Yves

Not all trips are created equal! Booking a trip with Yves Bisson Sturgeon Co. is not the same as all the other guided opportunities on the river.  You will likely experience epic sturgeon fights, with veteran sturgeon professional Yves Bisson. You will have the best fishing equipment, high quailty food (if you don't want to bring your own), and the best advice for landing these monster fish.  Yves specifically targets lightly fished and remote locations with huge sturgeon being a real possibility, day in day out. For the best access to great fishing, breathtaking scenery and relative seclusion from competing boats, our regular points of departure are from either Chilliwack, Agassiz or Hope.

A typical day on the water fishing with Yves will start out by meeting at one of our three regular boat launch meeting points.

Agassiz, Chilliwack or Hope departures daily.

Your party will arrive at the boat launch at a prearranged time where you will meet your guide Yves. He will get you on the boat and explain all the safety features and protocols before you head out on the water. You'll be provided with industry-best Simms G3 wading gear (waders & boots) for the day. Please layer up with a waterproof jacket and warm under layers so you can be comfortable in all types of weather and conditions.

THE GEAR

Yves runs a covered and heated 23' Wooldridge Jet boat with a powerful brand new 6.2 DI Chevy Jet engine to get guests quickly to and from our fishing destinations. The boat is equipped with Lowrance 3-D Side Imaging fish finder technology and Premium Shimano rods and reels which are kept in pristine condition, as is the rest of the gear. Bottled water, coffee, and light snacks are provided. Optional premium bag lunches are provided for $35 p/p or our famous Gourmet BBQ shore / all aboard lunches for $75 per/person.
